ESA and EC are pleased to announce the new dates for the EO for Polar Science Workshop -- >> 28-30 October 2020.
The workshop will still be held in Copenhagen, Denmark, the new venue is The Black Diamond (Royal Danish Library).

We remind you that the objective of the workshop is to review the latest advances in the use of EO technology for Polar research and advance towards the definition of scientific agenda that may drive future ESA and DG-RTD coordinated R&D investments in the coming few years.
The workshop will be structured as a combination of state-of-the-art scientific talks in plenary (before lunch) and break-out working sessions (after lunch). The afternoon working sessions will be dedicated to discussing and drafting key major candidate scientific challenges for the future.
You are invited to submit ABSTRACTS for oral/poster presentations for the scientific morning sessions, and/or to provide PROPOSALS for science challenges discussion sessions.

IMPORTANT NOTE: As a priority, the organisers want to ensure the safety of all the participants. To this end, ESA and the EC will monitor the situation carefully and ensure that the event organisation will be fully in line with any potential European and National Covid-19 safety rules and restrictions. Participants will be informed in due time of any further change or postponement of the workshop.
