The 1st IPY workshop on Sustaining Arctic Observing Networks successfully took place in Stockholm 12-14 November 2007. 115 participants from 18 countries gathered for three days for plenary presentations and discussions in thematic break-out groups. Each break-out groups delivered input to the future process, inputs that now form basis for compiling of a report that will be brought forward to the successive workshops during 2008.
